We were planning on having dinner with some friends as one of them was leaving London. After scouting the internet on the latest places to dine in London at affordable prices, we decided on Jamie Oliver's latest restaurant called Barbecoa http://www.barbecoa.com. Located in the latest shopping mall in London i.e. One New Change @ St Paul's, the restaurant goes round the building on one floor, and one part of the restaurant has amazing views of St Paul's. Overall the interior was very nice, with a slight rustic feel to it.
I have to say that there wasnt that much variety in the menu..
We decided to order a few starters and share them amongst 5 of us. We had the crispy calamari, crispy pig cheeks, garlic mashed potatoes and duck fat chips to share.
For starters, I had the lamb skewers..
The lamb was very tasty.. i think we were too hungry, and i completely forgot to take photos of other dishes! The others ordered another lamb skewer, 2 Barbecoa burgers and 1 fillet steak. Everything was very nice though..
By dessert time, we were all quite full so we ordered desserts to share. We ordered 2 banana splits and 1 baked cheesecake.
Advisable to book a table way in advance especially if you have a large group.
Enjoy!
